THE WET BOYS
"WE DON'T SPECULATE.
WE EXECUTE THINGS."
A digital carrier air wing. A military thriller universe. One community flying both.
SO WHAT EXACTLY
ARE THE WET BOYS?
This is what happens when Top Gun is merged with Sons of Anarchy.
The Wet Boys started the way most questionable ideas do, with a group of friends, an unhealthy obsession with military aviation, and way too many hours flying together in DCS.
What began as a virtual squadron quickly became its own culture. Callsigns were earned. Rivalries formed. Traditions appeared out of nowhere. Inside jokes became doctrine. Nobody could leave well enough alone. Before long, simply flying fighter jets together wasn't enough. The Wet Boys needed their own squadrons, their own patches, their own aircraft, their own carrier, and eventually, their own universe.
That universe became Carrier Air Wing Zero, CVW-0, the most unconventional collection of aviators ever assembled aboard the fictional USS Leviathan, CVN-00.
Think fighter-pilot swagger, outlaw-club loyalty, military dark humor, ridiculous amounts of horsepower, and a group of people who would absolutely fly through hell for one another, while making fun of each other the entire way there.
Today, the Wet Boys has grown far beyond the original DCS group. It's a living military-aviation universe that exists simultaneously as four things: a real digital air wing, a military thriller novel series, an ever-expanding collection of original aviation art and design, and a community where you can actually become part of it.
You can read the stories. Fly the missions. Join the squadrons. Meet the characters. Collect the patches. Download the liveries. Listen to the music. Explore the Leviathan. Or just stand back and watch this increasingly elaborate bad idea continue to get completely out of hand.
Somewhere along the way, a group of guys playing a flight simulator accidentally started building their own military aviation universe.

DEEP SCYTHE
A WET BOYS THRILLER
Book One of the Wet Boys Series is out now — in hardcover, paperback, e-book, and audiobook.
What if Joint Special Operations Command had its own aircraft carrier, and its own air wing built entirely off the record? Deep Scythe follows the rise of Carrier Air Wing Zero: resurrected jets pulled from the boneyard, retired legends given one more callsign, and a handful of pilots too reckless for the modern military. Their aircraft wear no nation's markings. Their orders come with a built-in expiration date. This is the story of how they became impossible to ignore.
“Fridge and Wilbor are going to conduct the loudest silent assault these radar towers have ever seen. Their job is to blind the eyes and break the ears.” — Col. Pete Donnelly
