The 62nd Attack Squadron “Abyss Hogs” exist to bring the fight to the ground, hit harder than anything the enemy expected, and ensure that whatever was standing when they arrived is not standing when they leave. As CVW-0's close air support and ground attack element, the Abyss Hogs specialize in low-altitude strike, battlefield interdiction, and the kind of sustained, punishing firepower that breaks both infrastructure and morale. Flying aircraft that were never supposed to operate from a carrier deck, they embody a single truth: impossibility is just an obstacle, and the Hogs have never once slowed down for one.
