SERVICE RECORD
There are pilots who arrive at CVW-0 with distinguished service records, spotless academic careers, and carefully cultivated professional reputations.
LTJG “GAB3” is not one of those pilots.
GAB3's aviation career began at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where his enthusiasm for flying was matched only by an allegedly medically concerning obsession with Japanese waifus. What began as a harmless appreciation for anime rapidly escalated into what school officials would later describe as “something we apparently need a policy for.” His student aircraft became a flying shrine, covered in enough waifu posters to make preflight inspection less about airworthiness and more about explaining yourself to God. His tenure at Embry-Riddle eventually ended, abruptly, and GAB3 executed an immediate strategic withdrawal from Florida.
He resurfaced in Bremerton, Washington, completing his education through Olympic College and attempting to convince everyone that the Florida Incident had been greatly exaggerated. It had not. With a degree finally secured and his anime collection presumably stored somewhere beyond the reach of faculty administrators, GAB3 turned his attention toward military aviation and aggressively pursued a slot flying the A-10 with the Idaho Air National Guard. There, something deeply inconvenient happened for everyone hoping the waifu kid would simply disappear.
He turned out to be exceptionally good at flying airplanes.
GAB3 tore through training and eventually became the youngest Weapons School graduate of his generation, demonstrating an almost offensive level of proficiency in the A-10. Somewhere along the way, Col Pete “Dude” Donnelly got his hands on GAB3's record. Donnelly saw a young weapons officer with extraordinary potential, extensive Hog experience, and exactly the sort of questionable personal history that somehow functions as a prerequisite for service aboard the USS Leviathan. Before the Idaho Guard fully realized what was happening, Donnelly sniped GAB3 for CVW-0 and assigned him to the 62nd Attack Squadron “Abyss Hogs.”
Today, LTJG GAB3 represents the terrifying intersection of youth, Weapons School tactics, A-10 firepower, and absolutely terrible judgment regarding Japanese animation. He may be one of the youngest pilots aboard Leviathan, but nobody questions what happens when GAB3 rolls into the target area with a GAU-8 attached to the front of his airplane.
His internet access, however, remains another matter entirely.
By direct order of Col Donnelly, GAB3 remains under STRICT WAIFU WATCH. No unauthorized posters. No aircraft nose art without command approval. No suspicious packages from Japan. No changing squadron briefing-room backgrounds. No anime decals within fifty feet of government property.
The Abyss Hogs trust him with a 30mm cannon. They do not trust him with a printer.
